Sound Therapy
Private & Group Sacred Sound Journeys
Sound Therapy is an invitation to move out of the mind and into your Heart, to feel yourself through a sense of freedom and deeper connection.
Using voice, Medicine Drum, Tibetan singing bowls, percussion, silence and deep listening, I offer intuitive Sound Therapy journeys for individuals, private groups and retreats.
These sessions can be especially supportive during times of change, loss, uncertainty, personal transformation, or simply when you feel the need to step away from everything for a while and come back to yourself.
We often spend so much time trying to think our way through what is happening.
Sound offers another way.
You can lie down.
You can close your eyes.
You can listen.
You can rest.
You don't have to know what comes next.
Often, it is afterwards that you notice the difference, potentially feeling more peaceful, lighter, clearer, more connected to yourself, or able to meet your life with a new perspective or more space.
When life changes, you don't have to know what comes next.
You can listen.
You can breathe.
You can rest.
And you get to be accompanied.
1:1 Sound Therapy
Sacred Sound Journeys for times of transition
There are times in life when something is changing and we don't yet know what comes next.
A relationship may be changing.
A chapter may be ending.
You may be moving through grief or loss.
Something within you may be asking for change.
Or perhaps the life you have known simply doesn't feel the same anymore.
In these times, it can be difficult to find space away from the thinking mind.
A Sacred Sound Journey gives you somewhere to rest within yourself without needing to have the answers.
We begin with conversation.
You can share what you are experiencing, what has brought you to the session, or simply how you are feeling that day.
You don't need to know exactly what you need. You need to just rest, and receive.
Once you are comfortable, the Sound Journey begins.
Using voice, Medicine Drum, Tibetan singing bowls percussion, and deep listening, I move intuitively through the session, responding to what I feel and hear rather than following a predetermined sequence.
The journey moves between sound and silence.
There are moments where you may be very aware of the sound, and others where you may move in and out of consciousness and simply allow your body to rest.
There is no particular experience you need to have.
I hold the space and guide the sound, while you remain at the centre of your own experience.
It's Not Just What Happens in the Session
The experience within the session is different for everyone, and every session is unique.
You may feel emotion, memories, sensations or insights arise.
You may feel deeply present with the sound.
You may move in and out of consciousness.
Or you may simply rest.
Often, it's after the session itself that you notice what the journey has given you.
Many people share that they leave feeling deeply relaxed, lighter in themselves, with a clearer perspective and a renewed connection to who and what they are.
You may notice your mind feels quieter.
You may feel more connected to your Heart.
Something that felt heavy before may not feel quite as heavy.
You may feel more peaceful, more open, or simply have a little more space within yourself to meet what is happening in your life.
For me, this is an important part of Sound Therapy.
It isn't only about having an experience while you are lying within the sound.
It's how you feel when you get up.
For myself and from what clients have shared with me, it's also how life unfolds afterwards.
How we may feel different within ourselves, and therefore how we experience and interact with life can feel different too.
A Client's Experience
“My sound therapy session with Sarah was beyond words, truly incredible. Her gift feels almost otherworldly, like something honed over lifetimes... I left feeling completely relaxed, like the energy had gone exactly where I needed healing most.”
— Lou, Athens Greece
You May Feel Drawn to a Session If You Are Moving Through:
Life transition, grief or loss, relationship change, personal transformation, creative or spiritual transition, stress or burnout, uncertainty about what comes next, a desire to reconnect with yourself, or simply a longing to deeply rest.
You don't need to be going through a crisis to receive Sound Therapy.
Sometimes there is simply a feeling of wanting to stop for a while, and receive.
To step out of everything you are carrying.
To listen.
And to reconnect with how it feels to be you.

The Sound
Voice, Medicine Drum, Tibetan Singing Bowls, Percussion & Silence
Voice is at the heart of my Sound Therapy practice. It is the most unique instrument, no two voices are the same.
My voice moves intuitively through a variation of sustained tones, wordless sound, melody, intentional songs and ancient Sanskrit mantra.
With the support of the Medicine Drum, Tibetan Singing Bowls, and Percussion. The journey moves between moments of the sound being full, with moments of silence and stillness.
Each session is personal, live and different from the one before it.
Group & Retreat Sound Journeys
Sacred Sound Journeys for Private Groups and Retreats
I also offer Sound Therapy journeys for retreats, private groups and special gatherings.
Participants are invited to lie down, get comfortable, close their eyes and receive the journey together.
Using voice, Medicine Drum, Tibetan singing bowls and silence, I create an intuitive Sound Journey in response to the people in the room and the feeling of the space.
Each group journey is different.
The experience gives people permission to step away from conversation, learning and mental processing for a while, to land within themselves, which may open more space to integrate what has been previously shared, rest and open more to fully receive.
And just as with a private session, what they experience afterwards can be just as meaningful as what happens within the Sound Journey itself.
Some share that they experience a quieter mind, a feeling of lightness, greater clarity, deeper sense of connection to self, and greater sense of belonging within the group, or simply the experience of having truly rested.
For Retreats
A Sacred Sound Journey can be offered as a standalone experience or woven into the wider rhythm of the retreat.
It may work beautifully as:
An opening into the retreat
A period of deep rest
A transition between workshops or practices
An evening Sound Journey
A space following emotional or transformational work
A closing or integration experience
Before the retreat, I connect with the organiser to understand the intention of the gathering, the people attending and where the Sound Journey may best sit within the overall experience.
The journey itself remains intuitive and responsive to the people in the space.

My experience of Sarah's sound work was deeply beautiful and nourishing. I felt love, harmony and comfort, and a sense of realignment within myself. I felt relaxed, trusting and connected to my best self.
What stayed with me most was the feeling of being supported to simply be to soften, listen and reconnect with something authentic within me. I left feeling more like my best self, and noticed that this continued to flow into the way I moved through the rest of my day and interacted with the world.
